The Crime

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are seeking Wanted Suspect, Rigoberto Zapatero, who has been charged with Burglary with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault.

This on-going investigation initiated on May 19, 2008 in the 2800 block of Richton, Stafford, Fort Bend County

During the course of this investigation Detectives identified the suspect as Rigoberto Zapatero and details revealed, during the late hours of the night, he entered a trailer located next door to where he resides. In the living room area was 3 children and the mother asleep when he approached the 11-year-old female. He managed to remove the 11-year-old child’s clothing and inappropriately touched her when she was awakened by his presence.

DeZapatero fled the residence and Detectives now have an Arrest Warrant for Burglary with Intent to Commit Sexual Assualt.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rigoberto Zapatero, who is wanted for Burglary with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault, $100,000 Bond, to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc.
