The Crime
On Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Weston Lakes Subdivision in reference to an apparent Aggravated Robbery that had taken place in the 32800 block of Waltham Crossing, Fulshear, Fort Bend County.
The preliminary investigation reveals the victim, Martha Fields, d.o.b. 01/12/1953, suffering from multiple stab wounds, called 911 to report 2 male suspects dressed in dark sweat suits arrived at her residence stating they were delivering a package. It appears they forced their way into the victim’s home, demanded money, and subsequently stabbed her numerous times. After binding the victim’s hands together they fled the area in an unknown direction.
Martha Fields, in serious condition, was Life-Flighted to Memorial Hermann, downtown, where she later died after a series of surgeries.
Detectives continue to follow-up on investigative leads and are now focusing on locating a third suspect, Marwan M. Saeed (Photo below), D.O.B. 07/21/1980, of the Alief area. Detectives currently have a felony warrant on Saeed for Murder – 1st degree felony and believe him to be very dangerous. Saeed does show to have a Criminal Record throughout numerous states and has been known to use a number of assumed names.
During the course of this investigation Detectives have learned Marwan M. Saeed has committed similar crimes in other states. Detectives are now seeking assistance in locating Saeed in and around the areas Baton Rouge, LA., New Orleans, LA., Dearbourne, MI and Bronx, NY.
As Detectives continue to pursue Saeed, they are requesting the assistance of anyone with information on the whereabouts of Marwan M. Saeed to consider him armed and dangerous and to please contact the Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s Office at (281) 341-4665 or Ft. Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
